NASCAR-Bristol

Only 5 more days til I pull out for another pilgrimage to Bristol. WOO HOO! Does anyone else go to the tracks? Which one's do you go to? Please remember this thread is about going to and watching races, and not about why Formula 1, Cart, or Rally is superior to NASCAR.

I'm jk, i like the both. Although not enough to really follow them. I'm from Long Beach Cali so I always have enjoyed the GranPrix of LBC and as a matter of fact am thinking of coming back from school in AZ next month for the race! Have fun in Bristol, you'd best take alot of pics for us >_<

Yea, I live in Virginia, used to live about 5 miles from the track in Charlotte, have several friends that are team members on Busch and cup cars. I used to work for Dale Jarrett when I lived in North Carolina. Still root for Ward Burton and Bill Elliot, and his new rookie replacement.

Formula 1 cars sound like a bunch of bumblebees humming around, the drivers are rude stuck up snobs, and the fans are a bunch of cheese and whiners

BTW, I go to Dover, Richmond, Watkins Glen, and Atlanta every year

Oh I'll take lots of pics, already have a butt load from my other trips, but sad to say I dont think they would go over very well here. You see for some reason NASCAR tracks dont really draw the tit flashing crowd that drag racing does I'm sure there is a few, but not on the scale that attend drag strips.
If you like road racing and you live in CA you should think about going to the race at Infineon in Sonoma.

I'm from NJ but since 1999 I take a pilgrimage to Charlotte every Memorial Day to watch the Coca-Cola 600

I'm jealous xfireman. I have only been to Martinsville, and Bristol. Though this will be my third year straight for attending both Bristol races. You cant beat the Bristol night race. Talk about excitment!

As for the racing issues...I'm into speed and things that look like airplanes so perhaps thats why im partial to F1? Like I said however, I enjoy a good NASCAR race from time to time also.... so ha =p
