Thanks. Your bike is nice too. I don't have anything against any makes either. I just prefer the smoothness of a 4 cyl for myself. I had a Suzuki before this one. Great idea for a thread! Happy riding everybody!

2006 Yamaha Roadstar. I love this bike. In the process of striping away the stock look. Was experimenting with no front fender, but need larger tires to pull it off. Took the badges off. Had a custom seat made. Will paint at a later date and go with larger tires, and changing the front rake.

Nice! I like to do the alot of the same stuff. Since my bike's older I got rid of all the 80's style decals and emblems. The only thing left in that dept. is the seat. I'm not crazy about the grab strap or the ridges. Your custom seat looks sick, man. I'd love to do to mine but it's expensive. I customize most everything that I can do myself. I'm gonna put on a new set of bars in the next couple of weeks. I hope I can stretch the control cables out or it might turn out to be more of a job than I'd like.

The weather is getting cooler here on the east coast. How late into the year do you guys ride? I have a liner for my jacket and some long johns under my jeans and I'll go until it's in the 40's. With that old quad carb setup on my bike it's hard to get started when it's much colder than that.
