Allentown, PA ---> Harrisonburg, VA (will include some of Skyline Drive) ---> Alcoa, TN ---> Atlanta, GA

Return Trip: Atlanta, GA ---> Johnson City, TN ---> from there, I'll find the Blue Ridge Pkwy, take it all the way up to Skyline Drive, up to Rt. 66, then 81, back to 78, and home to Allentown, PA.

Oh yeah, this is a business trip. Will connect with other riders across the country going to the NAFEM trade show in Atlanta, GA.

Blue Ridge parkway is a beautiful ride on a bike. Sorry to hear you'll have to travel through Atlanta though, the cars don't even know that motorcycles are allowed on the road out that way. Watch yourself.

Holy crap guys! 2100 miles round trip. When I met up with the other riders in Alcoa/Knoxville, TN, we went through the Great Smoky Mts., did a run called Deals Gap/Dragon Tail (google it!). All I can say is 11 miles, 318 turns, the majority of which I'd call 'hair-pin'. Holy crap. Weather was great going down and back.

On my return, friends were sick in Johnsonville, TN.... so, I took 85 N to Greenville, 25N toward Ashville, NC... caught the Blue Ridge Pkwy just south of Ashville and went North. Stayed in Boone NC that night... then back on the Blue Ridge Pkwy back to Harrisonville, VA. Next day.... Skyline Drive, then 81 to 78 back to Allentown PA.

Three days down, three days back. Weather was perfect... fall colors everywhere...

To the extent that I didn't want to fuck my wife when I got back, just stroke it thinking about the awesome ride... (just kidding... maybe...). One of the best rides of my life. I'll post some pics later. OMG.. how much fun!
