That's beauty

it has an extra 24bhp at 650 and a special sports suspension. Does 60 in 3.6 and 209mph top speed. Not really big improvement but it's the fastest front engined, none stripped down car out there, and it's fucking gorgeous!!!

In addition to the power enhancements, the new SLR 722 Edition also features a number of other tweaks as well. Nineteen-inch light-alloy wheels, a stiffer damper configuration, a ten-millimeter reduction in height, larger brake discs, and a modified front spoiler and rear diffuser all reflect subtle hints this isn't a typical Mercedes SLR McLaren.

Named to honor British racing legend Stirling Moss' and co-driver Denis Jenkinson's victory at the Mille Miglia in 1955, a race won by a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR with starting number 722, the SLR 722 Edition features a supercharged 5.5-Liter V8 producing 478kW/650 horsepower, as opposed to the standard SLR's 460kW/626 horsepower.

Okey dokey. It'd be more gorgeous if the 722 reflects the amount of bhp. But it's still a beauty.

Who say's I'm not pleased? Maybe the car should be named 650 then.

i thought the 722 mean cylinder capacity, e.g. like mercedes S600 (6000 cc). Now i'm more clever.

actually the S600 is only has a 5.5 litre engine.

you're right, was a bad example. but there are some older S600 which have really 6.0 L.

you know that mercedes names their car with cylinder capacity (s430, e220,..)
