Jolly, the Detroit Motor Show is really the "North American International Auto Show - Detroit" and will be in January of 2007.

MB-USA is showing all of its cars there now in light of the whole Chrysler deal. I won't be going to Detroit for any reason. If I can catch one at another show next year I'll send you a pic.

Also, nice thread but I don't like the S-Class re-design. Specifically the trunk. Also, I read that the E-Class will be following suit shortly which saddens me because I think the E-Class now is very, very pretty.

yeah it's a redesign for the whole company. new C-Class will also look different. I personally like it on the S-Class

and imagine a S-Class Cabriolet redone by AMG. that would be so

Nice looking car, but I'd worry about chassis/body flex in a 4-door cabriolet.

man, Mercedes has some fine engineers there... and some really clever "marketing guys"... because i was thinking: who will buy such a car? for a whole lot less money, you can buy a whole lot more fun...
