Did you ever think Chrysler would produce an 850-hp supercar? Neither did I. But this ME Four-Twelve concept car isn’t just for show. Chrysler gives more than a hint that it will produce the ME Four-Twelve. At the heart of the beast is a Mercedes AMG-developed 6.0-liter quad-turbocharged V12 with the aforementioned 850 ponies and an equal measure of torque. This is said to propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in an amazing 2.9 seconds. And it won't stop pulling until it hits 248 mph, according to Chrysler. All this power is channeled through a 7-speed Ricardo double-clutch transmission. And it all rides on a carbon-fiber tub with chrome-moly subframes. Fifteen-inch carbon-ceramic brakes slow the ME Four-Twelve, which rides on huge 19-in. front and 20-in. rear wheels and tires.
