that's cool that you work at a dealership, CHEATER. Does the Evo really have problems with crankwalk? I would've though they had fixed that problem after the old DSM had it. I heard that the transmission doesn't handle aggressive driving or drag racing very well and that Mitsu is voiding warrenties on people who race them. I think that's bullshit but whatever I suppose.

Ya wannabe, We have one in the shop right now for crank walk. So far we've done nine (9) clutch jobs on Evo's. Every one must think they are going to do a all-wheel burnout. All of them have been between 900 and 9,000 miles. We take them apart and the disc is trashed usually no material left and the flywheel will have mad heat stress marks on them. Most of the people are young kids (like myself) who think they are buying a racecar.

Well, I've heard the stock clutch was really weak. A couple magazines took one out and wore through it on one trip to the dragstrip. Not to bash Mitsu at all, but it's kinda shitty to advertise the car to a younger targer audience (advertise it as a lower-cost high performance car) and then have certain parts just crap out on you.
