Jaguar S Type '00 - Need Advise

Im new here from australia and wanted to seek some suggestions/opinions.
I've been planning for months to buy this model on the next month and wanted your ideas/suggestions if its worth buying for.

Personally i'd get an eqivalent BMW but I cant see that theres any problems with that. The V6 should be alright

Don't know about you guys, but personally I would NEVER buy a car with automatic transmission

That's way too much money for that thing!!! There are so many other cars that would be better for that kind of money.

Is it that you have just always wanted to own a jaguar?

In my opinion the S-Type is a dog when you compare it to an Audi, BMW or a Merc. Plus since Ford took over Jags are just a Mondeo in a party dress.

I agree with Dai. A Jag is not what it once was. I'd get a BMW convertible! Best of all worlds!

I think it's a great car one of my favorites. I think when you can buy a car like that you have to do it. Personally i like the Jaguar XJR but he is more expensive but this one is allright. I like he automatic transmission but here in Holland we have a lot of traffic and in the trafficjam it's really great. When i want a gearbox ill buy a racing car
