this could go in computers too but heres my question

1) Any suggestions for getting an ipod/adapter for my stock Bose stereo in my car? I cant change it b/c its tied to certain stuff in the car.

2) Can you load your songs from your computer to your ipod or do you have to go through their website to purchase songs? This seems obvious that you could but I want to make sure.

1) Not really. But check Apple's iPod store.

2) You can load any music onto your iPod as long as it isn't WMA, or purchased through Napster, Rhapsody, or Real's shit.

You need an FM modulator not the best but they do work. you just tune in a dead station like 88.7FM or whatever.

Thay also have a really cool ipod holder that fits right into your stock cupholder.

Nooooooooo!!!!!

ouch man Im sorry I totally appreciate the posts. I mean in actuality your posts said it all in an instant I knew two of the kinds of ipod converters.

When I said u guys I meant everyone who replied totally, no kidding, no bs.

But tsinus and bank said they actually had em so knowing what existed - thanks to bach - I now had two choices fm converter (which I had never had heard of till bach post) and cassette adapter. So they since they had em I just wanted what they thought about their stuff.

dude sorry I totally appreciate the visuals.

I used to use an FM modulator, until I got the schematics for my car and got an aftermarket Alpine receives, Sirius receiver and Ipod interface, all for about 500 bucks at Tweeter. the modulator isn't bad, I used Belkin's personally and never had any issue, even with my cell, no issue, unless it was still turned mad loud then I heard the RF noise in the speakers, as I do even now if it's turned mad loud. Why talk if you can barely hear yourself think? You'd be good with the modulator, or even a tape converter. If all else fails, go to Ratshack (radioshack) buy a cheap casset converter, buy a short 2 foot RCA cable and splice the bitch to one of the unused receive points (if you have them) inner wire positive, outter negative and plug it in, tweak the presets and you should be good (how we have my girls iPod in her lexus). Aftermarket is by far the best if you get the schematics for your wiring you can bypass, or workaround most of the bullshit.
