I can't find any info on the 1997 cadillac eldorado convertible... not sure if GM had produced one... or if is a custom job.. and if it was a custom job... would it depreciate the value of the vehicle? As far as I know it doesn't exist in 1997 ... but I am looking to possibly buy one from my friends neighbors.
The one I'm looking at is white with a white rag top and black leather interior.

not actual car or anyone i know for that matter!

This crimson pearl convertible is the work of Coach Builders Limited
of High Springs, Florida. It began life as an ETC hardtop with a 300HP
Northstar engine. The Vogue tires and wheels are a little bit retro and
similar to our 1976 crimson Seville.

I'm confused but it looks like the issue is settled. It was never a stock model but was a very common custom alteration.

BTW, stop calling me a nerd.

only hard top convertibles look good... but all convertibles feel good to drive with the top down.!

(unless you are in the burning sun)

I'm thinking it had to be a custom job... but the car is in really nice shape and has a brand new engine in it.. I haven't spoken with the owner yet.. so i'm not sure what they are asking... but I'm trying to get an idea of a fair price. The convertible part is throwing me off with the price... big time.. I'm not sure if the car is worth more now... and if so how much... or if it wouldn't affect the price of the vehicle..

neither one of us are in a rush... but if it's the right price and is the car it seems to be.. I would absolutely buy it.. I'm thinking in the area of $7500 - $9000... I need to know how many miles the vehicle has on it... how many miles on the engine..(why was the engine replaced?) And how many miles are on the tranny..... If anyone has any serious suggestions... I'd love to hear what you think.
