how much is it worth?

1st post, nice to be here.
found a 61 ford falcon, 144ci, straight 6, two door, 2 speed auto, 41k miles, engine runs good, stored 32 years, no rust, bucket seats and interior need work badly, new brakes. i saw it for sale in a farmers yard and asked him for the above list of details, paint is shot, he said he would take 500.00 dollars or so. what do you think, thanks, wc

Welcom to the club. The car is worth what? If your a seasoned do-it-yourselfer then fixing up a heap back to something cool is has worth. If your looking for something to get you around while xibit pimps your beamer then im positive you'd probley do better with the newspaper or CL.

I am looking to fix up to a clean runner, but no frame off restorations, is it worth the time to do and are parts still availably?

check out those sites, also you can also put a newer model motor in that thing. if ur willing to put the time and effort in to it, it'll def be a nice car.

to be honest i'd buy that thing for $500, there's always someone needing parts for their car, you could even eBay a lot of those parts. and make well over $500

ford straight sixes are really good motors, cant kill em....rape gas though heh

i always liked the falcons, people are making a lot of parts for older cars nowdays, you can get just about anything..
