It is truly amazing that here in the US we tend to take to "imports" to modify because they are exotic, I know theres a great amount of people in the US that are still nestalgic towards early american cars, that even includes me, but the market for collections and modifications have vered towards the imports.
Other countries old US muscle cars have seem to become a comdity, I still wonder if buying an american classic would be cheaper it you purchased it abroad, the biggest price would come into shipping the thing back to the US, but either way they are great american classics.
I personally own a 1933 Graham Cavalier, it's still in the days of reconstruction, but I will take some pictures and upload them here for all to see, until then this is what that car looks like.
