honda civic EX-R

i saw one of these in the parking lot at work, what exactly is it? what makes it different from the regular EX? im going to assume a lil better engine, lil better suspension, but if anyone knows EXACTLY whats different, id like to know, as i could get noone in the building to fess up as to whos it was so i could ask them.

From what I know, all it is, is a sticker that someone has addin on their car. Quite possibally they are trickin out there EX so they added the R logo to it because normally you would find a Type-R on an Si or something that has a different motor in it than what it should. Such as takin a Si(B16A) motor and puttin in one of a prelude(H22). I dont know if this helps any or truly exact. I myslf am a honda driver and owner(99 Civic EX) and have never seen an EX-R except for the logo decals you can get from PepBoys or AutoZone.

I'm also a honda fan (01 Integra LS). I don't think an EX-R exists, in the US or Japan. It's probably a generic "R" emblem (that looks like the same "R" from the Type-R or SI-R) that the owner probably stuck next to his/her EX symbol.
