Lets take a look at Supercars that time has forgot. Add your own if you can think of any.

What you see here aren't the fastest or the quickest cars, but some of the most outrageous projects which have received little or no attention from traditional media. In most cases production didn't make it beyond a few examples.

1994 Dauer 962 LeMans

In the late nineties, bringing prototype racecars to urban roadways was an idea that several companies shared. Considering the contrast between sports car and race car engineering, embarking on such a project was a laborious task. Coupled with the limited production and tiny customer base, development costs were hard to recoup. Despite these hardships, several German companies still decided to create their own road-going Porsche 962, the most successful prototype race car of our time.

1994 Jaguar XJ220 S TWR

If the Jaguar XJ220 was the fastest production car in the mid nineties, then the TWR supercar made from the LeMans race version had to be astonishing. Compared to the standard XJ220, TWR's version sported a composite body, more power and went on an extensive weight reducing diet.
