Ford GT-40 Kills my Twin Turbo Supra

Well, i was in pensacola, florida saturday and as i was sitting at a redlight a Ford GT-40 Pulls up beside me, i nearly shit myself and im staring and drooling, the old fellow rolls down the window ( He is in his late 40's early 50's) and i ask him if the car will run, He smiles real big and says " Watch " Well i decide im going to see what this GT-40 can do against my supra which in its own is not slow at all, He gives it full throttle ( I thought ) and so do i, well he is FAR ahead of me and im doing about 145, i pull into the store he is in and i walk over and shake his hand and we get to talking, he says he gave it about half throttle at take off and he eased it on up to about 160.


It is my personal vow to make the supra kill a GT-40

pensacola still a hoppin place? where the hell did u find enuff room for 145?

on 10 mile rd. at about 12 oclock at nite, Pcola is alright, Alot of traffic near the fair grounds because of them having the Pcola Fair.

u want ur supra to take a gt40? start working on a loan....

My Supra is bone stock, but it will run fast enough for me. I will do nothing to it but regular servicing i like it the way it is and plus im cheap

an mkIV can easily make good number's, drop about $1500 in BPU's and you'll be pushing about 500 pony's

Eh that would be pretty damn cool, but i personally dont want to do anything that drastic, i am not a big import tuner, i have no clue how to work on import cars, now a 350 chevy? I can do anything i want to it. Hell i might put a cat back exhaust to it, or may even put a header on it, high flow cat converter, and exhaust on it. Other things will come in the future but for now, :d Only thing i will do to it, is change the oil and airfilter when needed.

That's why I said just BPU's like intake, exhaust, boost controller, guages, blow-off valve, intercooler, hardpipes, even a fuel pump, and some injectors could easily be done, you don't have to be a tuner to do this just be able to read the instructions that come with them
