Went and test drove one the other day and absolutely loved it. Just wondered what the thoughts were amongst everyone on this car.

it's a ford
it's from the same company that decided the lawsuits from people dying because of gas tank explosions were cheaper than fixing the problem

take a look at the new toyota avalon, looks nice and drives nice too. plus it'll go for infiniti miles

I love the look of the ford five hundred, but I don't think I'll buy another Ford service sucks so does the reliabilty with them, but if you love it go for it. I love the "luxury" look it has.

In my part of the world Fords just cant compete with the luxury of the standard jap car. I drive a Mitsibushi top end car and to get the luxury I have from a Ford would cost me 20,000 more. Not worth it.

It def. has a luxury look and feel inside and out. Still not sure what I want to do, I did go and look at the Avalon and for some reason I just don't feel as comfortable in it. Thanks for the input.

I like the way it looks, very nice, but i'm not a big american car fan, the reliability just isn't there yet. If you're not stuck on American cars only, you should go test drive a G35 sedan. I have a G35 coupe and love it, i drove the sedan 1st b/c I wanted to try out the Infiniti 6-speed tranny and all they had on the lot were sedans, you won't be disapointed with it. The power is awesome as well as handeling and at the affordable price, it's hard to pass up....

Just get the aero package..it adds quite a bit of styling that you'll love!!

I like the Five Hundred, but haven't gone to test-drive one yet. I can easily see one being my next ride.

It seems like a nice car...but at this point I think you know a little bit more about it than I.

@G35 3 pics per post rule applies here as well. Thanks

Fuel pump went out on my Ford at 55000 last weekend. $350 part. The car has been nowhere near reliable. Other two people with Fords in my family (because I bought mine) have had plenty of problems too.

That said, the 500 is an okay car, particularly for the money. It's just really generic and has no character.

Had to get a rental car the other day so I took the Lacrosse, amn for being an old lady car that thing lit the tires up really nice ..but it still felt like an old ladies car, the seat's lowest position setting was still way too high.
