That is fucking awesome! i'm glad i watched the whole thing.

it's faster than i thought it would be...i would'nt mind driving that....

yeah shocked when it did 11.96 then they dropped the weight 700lbs... just fucking awesome. shame though we could've been further along if it wasn't for the oil companys.. i mean the first electric car was 1913......

but if someone can build one, then it can be duplicated... i don't know how mutch it would cost,or how to do it, but it would be cool to do...

electric motors are like turbines,almost instant torque,which = acceleration that fueled engines can't match.

the battery technology is advancing at a extremely fast pace,the size weight and capacity of batteries has always

held back electric cars. I now fly RC airplanes that out power,outlast,and are faster than the equal fueled engine

at about the same cost ! Electrics are comming...And us old car nuts are going to cringe at the thought of NO

bellowing exhaust,just the hum of torque as it blows our doors off...

That's awesome but I can see an increase in dead pedestrians on quiet suburban streets when these things come out.

yeah apparently there was a ton of lawsuits from blind people when the prius came out and became popular.

Yeah, well young school kids don't have the capabilities to make a lawsuit... blind or not.

I'm not against electric cars by no means... just making a point.

Also, the Prius is a hybrid therefore I would assume it makes some noise.

We can buy a engine sound generator for our RC electric planes that sounds like an engine,perhaps they will do the same for electric cars lol

not all the time... its kinda scary how quiet they are.. i've been startled a few times

I haven't seen to many Prius's on the road but I was nearly cleaned up by an electric scooter a few months ago... I couldn't believe how quiet it was.

I've only been in one once and the engine never turned on.. and others i haven't heard the engine either.. not sure when they kick in.

even with the engine running prius's are damn quiet.

I also remember reading that when horseless carriages first hit the world, they made laws requiring constant horn honking

in town to warn the horses and pedestrians...
