1976 Mazda 1300 2dr sedan. First I switched the 1300 motor for a 1500 with a 5spd and weber. Now it has a stripped out interior, Cobra race seats, big brakes, height adjustable front suspension adapted from bits and peices and RX-2 front struts, a 12A from a RX-7 series 3, mechanical secondaries, a series 4 RX-7 turbo gearbox, thick wall tailshaft, shortened Toyota Hilux differential with a 4.375 diff centre and changed wheel stud pattern to suit the alloys I have.

My first car was a tuned Golf GTI I. The bodywork was done really bad. It looked quite cheap and it actually was, that's why I could afford it. The engine was fortunatly not modified.

Now here is my current car. I don't think think it needs to be tuned.

This is my mates current rig at the nationals in January.

Running this weekend at the Winternationals again, if he can shave another 0.2second (6.7) he will get the national record for the class. Stand a good chance, air will be 30 degrees cooler, and we found he had 3 dud leads after the best Nationals pass. Would have won the class fo rthe day except for that (Found the dud leads when she stalled down on the line, no restarts allowed )
