Castle Combe Track Day 2nd July 2007

Hi guys, not that often I venture over to the car section. Tend to lurk if I do.
Well I was fortunate to spend Monday down at Castle Combe race track for an MG XPower Forum track day. It started off with waking up at silly o'clock to drive down in my mate's MG ZS180 2.5 V6 with the weather starting out ok. By the time we met up with some more of the guys on the way down the weather was starting to turn. On arrival the weather had turned for the absolute worst with torrential rain looking like it was set in. Loads of standing water on the track making it nerve racking for the drivers. We went through the necessary signing in, briefing and noise testing of the cars. Got ourselves sorted and lined up ready for some sessions on the track. Thankfully the weather broke by lunchtime to leave the track dry and considerably quicker than the morning session.
What I am going to post are pics I've taken from the day, some vid clips from inside the car, and links to other pics and vid clips other guys have taken that were down there.

The little Rover 100 that he's chasing in this has an 1800 K-Series engine in it plus several mods. It was f**king quick!

Thankfully it cleared up in the afternoon and left us with a drying track and some very quick laps.

About a minute in we get lapped by a tiny MGB with a V8 engine in. That car was frighteningly quick!
