what kinda power did it have stock?...like 160ish?...so what did you do to it?....to have it pushing like 380hp at the crank?..(i guesstimated based on the 340 whp).....im just interested and have no want or need to get caught up in this name calling fest...some people like ricers, some people like domestic muscle...its just the way it is..and name calling isnt going to help anything....

this is a straight up import vs muscle fight in here........ both good in my opinion but i KNOW v8s are way cheaper to make fast. ive invested about 5000$ into a buick 455 and its pushing well into the 600 hp range ( not at the wheels..... havnt gotten to the point were i could find out yet) and my freinds celica..... hes spent over 10$ in engine mods alone! and only has a 13 second car and in my opinont thats not very good for how much has been spent! its quick dont get me wrong but its damned costly. i also have a 88 trans am that is completly stock exept for headers and a differnt rear end its running 13.9s its not that fast but the whole car and parts only cost about 6000$ and i could cam it and see some much lower numbers. not sure what the buicks gunna run yet due to lack of time to finish up some loose ends ( like a new 4 speed...... minor detial) but i know this thing will move, i really plan on making it more of a show car though and take it to the strip about once or twice a year.
i also have a freind whos got a supra that just eats almost anything up out there that he has spent over 40,000$ on, its fast and looks cool and he always has a differnt hot girlfreind in the passenger seat but i cant see my self spening that much money on it, still would kill for that car though!

Im locking this... seems like people have a hard time being nice to eachother..
