I dunno phenom, its used so obviously it has some things i need to do just to make it in perfect condition, like brakes and rotors and that shit is expensive, 400 bucks for the parts alone. Either way I was driving it around last night...damn getting used to stick again is funny, but that thing screams! *does a happy dance*

lol, im not the one that chose how to spell it, this is simply how its written in the "mainstream" I dunno why and I really dont care, I think it should be beamer since thats what we call them most of the time hehe

Come to think of it, why do people refer to BMW's as bimmers/beamers/etc? How did they get that nickname? I'm assuming the european folk don't use the same reference, are they just called BMWs? Now i'm curious. But once again, MMs; sweet ride! Can't wait to get mine!

I live with M&M and am I huge BMW fan, and I can say that it is a clean ride indeed. Rims arent to my taste, but thats why they make different styles. I'm happy to see that guy out of his old ghetto car and into a nice one, and to be driving a stick. He's getting it, and he has me as a full time coach...I get paid with breakfast, so it's a good deal.
Love the car titluhva, I am a huge E34 M5 fan. The S38B36 or B38 is the best sounding engine ever produced, although M&M's M50TU has a nice snarl too. Great cars guys.

phenom: does that mean you've decided to go after a BMW as well? I remember our conversation about them in my previous thread about getting this car. Anyways, Barry here is the bimmer expert I mentioned haha, but yeah i'd say go for it!

I've been tweaking performance on my M5 for the last year or so. Nothing too shocking, but I've got her down to about 11.2 sec in the 1/4 mile. Keep in mind that she's still fully loaded (about 3200 pounds). I haven't "tubbed out" the car or anything. Just a lot of under the hood, suspension and transmission updates. And she still handles corners like a BMW should - tight, smooth... showing the driver what he/she needs to learn.

The only big downside is that she does like to eat tires now (even more than before)
