since when is the drag strip a real test of carmaking talent? all you have to do is throw in the biggest motor in the lightest car. check out the DTM of JGTC sometime, you will learn something about foreign cars, and no, ASSCAR is not racing, its just going around a gigantic traffic island.

yeah i agree.. i think the increased production has really hurt them..
and also by european cars im not refering to any type of british made car, aston, mg, rover, bentley, jag etc.. for obvious reasons if you have ever owned one of these abominations

I am no real fan of BMW although I have not driven the 6 yet. There are some american cars which I would have as investments but there is nothing that is currently made stock in the US that will compete with top end out of Europe.

To be fair, you should really prince range this because no one could truly say that they would rather have anything other than a Bentley Continental GT or an Aston Martin Vanquish. In terms of high end affordable, I could not be happier with what I drive daily.....

-almost every friggin saleen ever made
-2006 z06
-SRT-10
-GT40
ive yet to see anything stock come out of audi that impressed me whatsoever, there meant for old farts who wont make their tires spin if a cemi was about to tbone them

I've got a 2005 Seat Leon Curpa R last Tuesday and thanks to the guys at Redline tuning she's happy to do 0-60 in about 6 seconds. Not bad for a 1.8 litre engine.

replying to mrbig1, i would rather have a decent benz amg, beamer, or anything of the like rather than a british lemon with dodgy electrics and manufacturing at best, containing more woodgrain than james cook was subjected to in a lifetime.

and to bigdaddydiesel, i think you should research your claims before you go branding one of the best car manufacturers in the world to be meant for 'old farts'. Ever heard of an audi RS6, 4.2L V8 good for 331kw and 500bhp.



maybe even a novice enthusiast such as yourself could manage a wheel spin or two if a 'cemi' (semi) were about to 'tbone' you.

and as for your atrocious selection of american-made tripe, i dont think anyone in their right state of mind would consider buying some rubbish vehicle clearly designed for the drag circuit and with no pracitcality or comfort for drive in mind, simply a trashy plasticy interior with no driveability or driver comfort, simply a massive, rough to run and a prick to drive engine heaped into an atrociously designed body.
