A Mod i've never heard of being done...

okay... i got a remote starter for my car

it has a button to pop the trunk, however my car has a purely mechanical trunk release, there is no cervo involved for the remote to activate, the version of the car with RKE/security system also did not have a feature to open the trunk

how hard would it be to add a cervo to pull the trunk release mechanism?

Not too hard, I would think.
Go to a body shop, they should be able to tell you.

I don't think its too hard either. Try checking out www.autoloc.com. They seem to have alot of parts to make non power features, powered. I also got the remote starter for my car, it's a pretty nifty feature. Mainly made for cold weather starting and warming up the car but i'm in hawaii so i don't really have a use for it, except for tripping people out by starting my car while standing outside of it.
