Id take a ferrari any day of the week, but for out and out track day fun, the golf wins imo hands down.
I wouldnt worry so much about thrashing it, and maybe crashing it, where as if i was in my ferrari, id never want to drive it anywhere, and if i did it wouldnt be over 30mph!
