Since 1982 GTI owners celebrate this annually in the Austrian town Wörthersee. This year, Volkswagen placed a very special GTI before them: the GTI W12 650 showcar. This sports car is a inclination before the GTI friends at the Wörthersee, people for whom the GTI is a myth.

That may be the fastest mass-produced car, but it's not the fastest car ever made. Besides, there are much more interesting and not-so-dull cars than Veyron, like Koenigsegg. Those cars are true art, fast and full of brilliant engineering, unlike that we-need-4-turbos-and-too-fucking-huge-engine Veyron.

no matter how fast it is, or how big the engine is, it'll always be a golf...

actually its not a Golf its a GTI --- being that I sell VW I def hope that no one plans on seeing this car for real, the last VW sold with a W12 was a Phaeton, who would pay 110K for a VW?

mate call it what ya like... but to me, its a golf, look at it

and Ascaris the Veyron is a masterpiece of engineering. Its effectively a Formula 1 car for the road, in terms of speed and acceleration, so how anyone can find it uninteresting lives on a different planet. It's interesting just for the level of engineering that has gone into it. I reckon the boffins at VW know more than enough about making supercars.

The Koenigsegg yeah, its a striking motor, but engineering wise, its not on the same level as the Veyron mate. I mean it was a death trap until a certain stig advised them to stick a spoiler on it.
