the original mustangs rule. i own two a 65 and i have a 04 premium edition gt. the 04 is much faster, but the 65 gets more looks

I have not driven the Shelby (obviously) but the regular Mustang does not handle very well. Too much weight shift. Pretty but I think Ford could have done better. I don't know what the guys at Shelby actually did.

I have the 05 Mustang GT, and I had an 03 before that. Two TOTALLY different cars, and the new Musang handles so much better! All the way back through the Fox body, Mustangs had a tendancy to be really squirrely. If you weren't careful accelerating, you'd throw the ass of the car all over the place. The wider wheelbase and longer stance really stiffened the ride up the right way, and the weight ratio is something like 51/49 front to back... I may be biased, since I've been in love with Mustangs for a long time, but having owned three I'd like to think I'm a good judge. I think they did everything right with the Mustang...
Notice how all the common competetors waited to release their new models until after Ford showcased the Mustang? I wonder why...

the new ones alright but nothing beats the originals
still rather have original gt 500

you can reserve them the new 500 now......actually for months now........10K deposit per....no guarantee that more then one will be deliveried to any SVT dealer.....and the final price is still up in the air...could be close to 100grand.......i know a guy with 2 reserved.......that rich bastard.....
