Or maybe it was the gearbox? That's quite common in the F1. It gives nice smoke too, like the engine. McLaren has had many basic part failures in past seasons.

That's not a laughing mater, but those stupid italians didn't get it. If somebody enjoys the passion of racing with all his heart, that's normal. I know many F1 drivers who have been tearing for some reason.

You're right - at least he was passionate about his racing. James Hunt was good like that too, and Barichello now also.

Joking asside, that new McLaren looks pretty stunning. I read that they spent mega bucks to develop the chrome effect paint for it. Can't wait to see it in the first race of the season! McLaren deserve some success at last.

Just seen the new McLaren pictured in public for the first time. Doesn't look that great from head-on IMHO
