Since this has to do with comedians, I posted it in the Fun Forum... Move if necessary.

I was just thinking about the comedians I love(d) and find absolutely hilarious! In no particular order (except for those that have died):

1. George Carlin (RIP)
2. Rodney Dangerfield (RIP)
3. Red Skelton (RIP)
4. Victor Borga (RIP)
5. Stephen Lynch
6. Louis Black
7. Mike Birbiglia
8. Jeff Foxworthy
9. Larry the Cable Guy
10. Ron White
11. Bill Engvall

Who do you enjoy laughing to?

The first 4 absolutely in that order. Then I would add,,,

Bill Cosby

Robin Williams

Red Fox

Flip Wilson

Whoopi Goldberg

and,

Rodney Carrington

Rogue, your numbers 8, 9, & 11 take away any credibility you might have garnered with your first 3 or so.

did you really put the fucking redneck crew in this? they are only tolerated at best. they shouldnt even hit the top 100. if one of them could ever be called a good comedian it would be jeff foxworthy just because he was original.

You also need to add Christopher Titus at the top of the list.

My top 10 would be

1 Robin Williams
2 Christopher Titus
3 Bill Engvall
4 Jeff Dunham
5 George Carlin
6 Buddy Hacket
7 Gabriel Iglesias
8 Lewis Black
9 Steven Wright
10 Dennis Leary

Jeff Foxworthy basically copied all the redneck jokes that people had been saying for years, and making a career out of it by saying "you might be a redneck if..."

Of the four guys from Redneck, Bill Engvall is by far the funniest, with Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy in the middle. Which leaves Foxworthy for the very bottom of the comedic pile

I dunno, man, Titus is good, but I don't think I can put him on an all time top ten list. Same with Iglesias.

I find it difficult to believe that no one mentioned Steven Wright

None of the above...

My personal favorite has always been Mike McDonald.

Dang... yeah, I forgot about him... And others that were mentioned... Robin Williams, Andrew Dice Clay, Denis Leary and Lewis Black obviously belong near the top of the list. I saw Lewis Black live back when Dubya was going for a second term. Absolutely hilarious!

Oh, and I completely forgot about Jeff Dunham! I can't wait for the next time he comes to STL.

Also, I enjoy Dane Cook, though I am not sure if he would be in my top 10. Not sure...

[Ford Fairlane] Have you seen this girl?
[Zuzu Petals] Is this a trick question?
