it's a bottle launcher. a bit crude explanation prolly..
what it does is launch "objects" like a gun would do. only the ammunition used are things like plastic bottles.
you could say they work similar to "carbiet melkbussen" for the dutch ppl here
with those things they line up a bunch of milkcans (those big old ones from the farms u know
) which are filled with some igniting stuff like carbite(I think that's what they call it in english). on top they've placed a ball instead of the top. then they place something hot near the bottom of the can which makes the carbite ignite and builds up pressure. the pressure makes the ball fly away and the person owning the ball which flew farrest, wins.
same with this launcher only the way of igniting is different. they seem to be using compressed air instead of some ignition like carbite which actually blows up...
