i suppose this is as good a time and place as any to ask a simple question that most cerainly will have complex answers. why does a guy go into a well known lesbian bar and buy a woman a drink?

Sometimes guys don't have a clue. I believe they think there is a magic switch that turns you from lesbian to bi. Of course some of the women in those bars can be scary. You might even mistake them for men. But it really depends on which lesbian bars you go to.

probably many reasons mickster, but those two seem likely. my guess is curiosity if a guy is alone but something else altogether if they are a group. then it becomes bravery with backing and often means trouble.

Great link!!! My results are below. In answer to your question buxom... I think there could be several reasons. A guy could go in to try and pic you up hoping that your girlfriend will join in. Or he could be trying to prove his masculinity and "transform" you into a heterosexual. Or he could not know the area and not realize it is a lesbian bar. BTW I agree that a group of guys would be an issue especially since they'd probably get shot down. Some of us tend to have this stupid habit of trying to prove ourselves in front of our friends.

Too much money on drinks....way too much. As far as a guy going into a lesbian bar...guys always think they can get into the middle of two girls. It's our fantacy. We have no clue that you don't want anything to do with us.
