FORT MITCHELL, Ky. - A Kentucky man wearing only a thong and carrying a knife is accused of videotaping himself attempting a burglary, then leaving the tape behind, police said.

Helped by the tape, police arrested Rodney McMillen, 36, of Covington, over the weekend and charged him with burglary, Police Chief Steve Hensley said. He was found at his mother's home in Norwood, Ohio, Hensley said.

McMillen is accused of breaking into a woman's apartment on Sept. 20, clad in only thong underwear and carrying a knife, Hensley said. The woman fended off the attacker, who left the apartment and fled into a stand of trees near the apartment complex, Hensley said.

Investigating officers found a video camera the burglar left in the apartment and found video of McMillen's family on the end of the tape, Hensley said.

Investigators were able to identify some of them and tracked down McMillen at his mother's house, Hensley said.

McMillen was being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati on $50,000 bond, awaiting extradition to Kentucky

It was used on the front of a spelling handout given to parents of pupils at a school, in Pine Tree, New York state, reports the Times Herald-Record.

The teacher reportedly had no idea the alphabet was offensive when she downloaded the font from the internet.

"I definitely believe it was a mistake," said Kelly Stegmann, president of the parent teacher association at Pine Tree Elementary School.

Teachers and many parents didn't know what they were looking at until they received a letter of apology from Pine Tree principal Jean Maxson.

"This packet was reviewed by a number of people, including myself," Maxson wrote. "I take full responsibility for this inappropriate publication."

A US school teacher has apologised after accidentally using a kinky alphabet in a handout letter to parents.

The font depicts male and female stick figures contorting into sexual positions resembling letters of the alphabet.

The baby's size came as no surprise to his mom. Michel's oldest son weighed 9 pounds at birth, her 8-year-old twin sons each weighed 8 1/2 pounds and her youngest son, age 3, was nearly 12 pounds.

Michel's husband, Vijens Louis-Jean, a truck driver, was coming from Florida to see his son.

Less than 24 hours old, the baby was fitting into clothes for a 6-month-old and was too big for newborn diapers.

NORWICH, Conn. (AP) - Oh baby! Marie Michel's fifth child was one for the record books. Michels gave birth to a 14-pound, 13-ounce boy Tuesday at William W. Backus Hospital.

Backus officials said the newborn - Stephon Hendrix Louis-Jean - broke the 18-year record for the biggest baby ever born at the hospital by 1 pound, 13 ounces. He was nearly 23 inches long.

"He's built like a linebacker," said Dr. David Kalla, who delivered the baby by Caesarean section.

After nine months of carrying Stephon, 36-year-old Michel said she was happier about having finished giving birth than about all the attention her baby was receiving.

"I was miserable," Michel said. "I couldn't sleep at night. My 13-year-old son had to help me get in and out bed."

"I have baby clothes but I don't think they will be able to fit," Michel said. "I think I will have to return them."
