Basically. it was that big, it was hunted for 3 hours and shot 16 times, and it was not really feral as it had been on the hunting preserve for just a few days.
now for the other pig i still think it is a holks

National Geographic did a special on Hogzilla and actually dug up the damn thing. It was estimated at around 800 lbs and 7-8 feet. The picture has its own issues as the guy was standing in a pit behind the hanging animal. Add that to the angles and adjust for the differences in distance from the camera and the 7-8 ft measurement is about right.
