COOK ISLANDS: This photo was taken on the island of Aitutaki, surrounded by the most amazingly beautiful lagoon in the world. Whenever I look at this photo I’m back in Aitutaki, dancing on the beach, the warmth of the Cook Islanders touching my heart and soul - wonderful memories that will remain with me forever.

KSAMIL BEACH, ALBANIA: Albania is a beautiful country both in terms of the landscape and the people. Post dictatorship, the country and tourism are still developing, but there are many gems and bargains to be found. Ksamil is one of these with a stunning beach, and few other tourists, just south of Sarande, not far from Greece.

THAILAND: A quick sunbathe before the storm – on a tiny island between Phi Phi and Phuket Islands. The relaxing stop amid the typical multi-coloured Thai deckchairs and umbrellas, with the rich sun on the white sand, against the backdrop of dark thunderclouds, was quite the surreal experience!

DAKAR, SENEGAL: Masses of pirogues (fishing canoes) line the shore of Hann-Plage in the bustling city of Dakar. Experienced fishermen often spend long nights in sometimes rough and dangerous ocean waters to provide the fresh seafood to sell at local markets right across the city.
