I've had a problem where while on this site only, when I click back on my navigation bar, firefox just stops working(doesn't lock up, just doesn't load anything), and I have to close it. Then when the error report comes up, it says that there was a problem with java.

I'v found a little work around for the time being; I disabled Java, and everything works fine.

I've had trouble with java and firefox before... You can try switching the virtual machine you use.... http://www.java.com/en/download/help/switchvm.xml that might help you out a bit.. It seems more like firefox being the culprit than java though.. Goodluck

I find it best that if a site REQUIRES java, view it in IE(as Firefox will almost cretainly crash). This is the one problem that I have with Firefox.

As far as this site goes, I just use my "Quickjava" extension to cut off java, and there is no problem.

Strange. The java applet is only loaded at login. after that it wouldn't be loaded anymore.

That's what I was using with version 1.0.7. I found a way to make all my extensions compatible with 1.5 so I updated.

There isn't a problem with Firefox 1.5 and java.

Yeah, that's an old school ext.

When newer Firefox release comes, I've always updated my extensions to fit with the newer version of Firefox. Some developers takes too much time to update their extensions, so you have to do it yourself.
