Why do some posts disapear and some become locked

Why not delete all bad post and send a message explaining why it was deleted. It does not make sense to me. I think this is a good forum. I'm not bitching, just trying to help.


Everyone else that like to bitch, there are forums just for that. do a search dumb ass

When somebody does something wrong he is notified with a message from one of the mods explaining why and how.

Diz, you never answered the dudes question, he wanted to know why some threads are just locked and some are actually deleted.

To answer, I think all threads are locked, we did get some threads deleted in the crashes.

no not all the topics are deleted. Topics with advertising in it are deleted inmidiatly. When a topic is out of hand we are lock it/ and sometimes there are crashes and topics are gone. and is there another reson like politics or something mods are closing those topics and send the memeber who started the topic a PM why they close or delete it.

where are my credits; why haven't my pictures been uploaded, I uploaded them like an hour ago.

Yeah, I do. When a thread is loaded with pro, copyrighted or similar stuff I delete it and send a PM to the offender. I have no desire what so ever to clean 10 pages of pics and then lock it.

If you were a mod on a site with 200 000 + members, you'd understand.

It's easier to lock some topics as examples to people what kind of topics are not allowed to continue, rather than deleting all topics of the same kind of even same issue and sending pm's to hundreds of people.

Also, in feedback forum, we often lock answered topics so that they don't pop-up on the first page again, but can be found with search from the forum.
