when does a loggin name get thrown back into the mix

i noticed someone else is using Jackass280...which is ok since ive given it up, yet Shenanigans is still unavailable even though it hasnt been used in awhile.....is there a time limit of inactivity on the account that then name gets thrown out? i hope ive made myself clear.....its late.. j/w

There's no time limit, all the cool names were taken by people who logged in once.. back in 2003-04

Well if you change your name to a new one, your old name is no longer in the system so it's there for the taking.

But if the name you want has not been used in a couple years, send Diz a PM asking if that one can be reset so you can use it.

Yeah, that's why you gotta have a place holder account. :P

I tried that...even went as far as to get an email from the former member stating it was ok to take his old name. I guess Diz was too busy so I'm stuck with a backwards e that doesn't display properly in threads ɘ.

well, we have to figure out what to-do with the unused names. Maybe refer them to email adresses or userid

That's funny I enjoy playing on your sister too. She prefers checkers but the pieces always slide off of her too easily so I opt for tic tac toe.

why not just delete them if they havent been used in like 2 or 3 years?

I think you could very well rename accounts to userid's after 1 year of inacticity or so...
