My two cents on this, from a moderator perspective.
IMO there are far too many members uploading professional and AI/altered content without facing a sufficiently severe penalty. I can delete 50 uploads from a single member's queue because they are clearly professional or obviously AI-generated, only for that same member to upload another 50 similar images a few hours later. Yes, the penalty system will eventually reduce their upload score, but it takes so long to have a meaningful effect that they can continue uploading large amounts of unacceptable content in the meantime.
By "professional" I generally mean those images taken from paid sites such as OF, Fansly, etc. I think most people can recognise this type of content fairly easily. If an 8+/10 woman is taking nude selfies with her legs spread open and perfect lighting in place, it is highly unlikely she is taking a quick photo to send to her boyfriend. Yet how often do we visit the site and find the front page filled with exactly this type of content? (Due to certain moderators not actually checking the images they are supposedly moderating, but that's a separate issue).
Either we start to accept these images (which I don't think we can, legally) or users who repeatedly upload professional / AI content need to face much stronger & faster penalties.
I also don't think anyone should be able to have 500 images sitting in their upload queue. When the overall queue is already around 20,000 images, allowing a single member to account for 500 of them is insane. Allowing someone such a large number of uploads inevitably leads to a significant drop in the care and quality of what they submit.
Perhaps the maximum queue size should be 100 images? As images are approved/rejected, they can add more, but never more than 100. (And depending on their overall user upload score). Or, alternatively, there could be a monthly upload allowance for each member (again, depending on user upload score). For example, each member could be limited to 150 uploads each calendar month, and once they have used their uploads, they would not be able to submit any more until the following month, regardless of whether the initial images were approved or rejected.
If we can reduce the amount of professional / AI content being uploaded, moderators will have more time to focus on approving legitimate, acceptable content. And if we limit the number of images each member can upload at one time, this should mean more members are seeing their uploads approved on a regular basis. This would benefit the moderation process and ultimately the site as a whole.
