1. Show an icon next to each picture to indicate that it is part of a picture serie.
2. Offer an option to all members to add to or create a picture serie based on the babe gallery
3. Before uploading pictures members can check if their picture is not part of a picture serie and hence already on the gallery and not to be uploaded.

imho this could lower the work-load of the moderators.

So we work hard finding ways to give sponsor members more, and you're suggesting we remove one of those options? Not to shit all over your idea, but that would never work. For every 1 member who would use this to check if the pictures have been uploaded, 100 or more would leech off of it and use it solely for personal use.

How about doubling the upload queue from 500 to 1000.

BTW My only goal is to get rid of all the duplicates. Moderators and other members complain that it is impossible to know all the pictures posted on the gallery.

i really dont see how any of these things would lower the work load for mods.

it would be ridiculous to think that EVERYONE...if hardly anyone would actually search the gallery before they upload pictures. there would be more leechers just using the gallery to look at pictures for their own enjoyment that.

1. Members can see that the picture they want to upload is already part of a picture serie. So, no need to upload.
It can also be a tool (extra checkup) for moderators.

2. Members can create series based on the pictures on the gallery that are not already grouped in picture series.
And by doing this, making the reference database for moderators and other members more complete.
The same has been done in:

The end-result could be:
- less reposts
- more picture series (reference database)

For a first start, you could make this option available only to sponsor memberships.
And see how it works out.

That's just the problem now. They don't search the gallery.
But if they recognize a girl in the first picture shown at http://www.whatboyswant.com/series/ as the same girl in the picture they want to upload, they can browse the serie and check if this picture has not already been posted before. Browsing 100 pictures in a serie is better than browsing 800.000 pictures.

You could also give members the option to create their own picture series (based on the gallery pictures) in their own personal member page (like playlists on youtube) with a share option with their buddies (and of course the wbw crew to complete the reference database I mentioned earlier).

1- Add a list showing the last downloads of user and/or (and in particular) self. There is this one video having a song in the background and I cannot seem to find it anymore .
Hope this hasn't been added within the last few pages; couldn't bother to read all since there is dozen of doubble-posts here .
2- A multi-upload tool, may it be java or akin. Select up to x movies or pictures and upload them (may be qeued or simultaneous) so we may just go and host some stuff over night

1 x A 'last 100' forum posts option
1 x Drop the 50 votes rule for Top of the Babes all time list
1 x Add a new category Erotic Graphics next to Babes, Movies and Cars
1 x Supporting other formats of video
1 x Option to create picture series/playlists/albums in personal member pages
1 x Add a list showing the last downloads of user
1 x A multi-upload tool

The list is reviewed by a moderator and some of the wishes are placed in post #1 of this topic.
Some other items are also added to the final list.
After that Diz reviews this list once more.

I understand what you're saying, but it would not work like that. To think that most members actually take the time to look over what they are uploading for reposts before actually uploading is naive. It just does not work that way.

Okay, okay, some final remarks. I just tried to find a way to cut down the reposts at least by good willing members.
I have seen tons of repost, also by members who have upgraded their membership and/or contributed a lot (and I'm also not clean on the repost issue). And then I am only referring to reposts that made it to the gallery.
For this group of members it could be an option.

I'd suggest making the comments section posts searchable. For example, a search of the word "repost" in the babe comment section could be quite useful.

I also renew my request to disable the auto-locking of threads.

If the word "repost" is followed by the url of the original image it could be quite useful.

BTW I was convinced that the comments were already searchable.
