They have to be approved by a moderator. Wait times can vary with the volume of pics to be moderated. New uploaders get priority (I think, I’m not a mod), and the wait time is usually at least a week, and usually more like 2-3.

Yeah, I’m not so clear on any differentiation being drawn here. There are quite a few pictures of women with bruises on here, most of which seem to be bdsm-related bruises from what I assume was consensual bdsm play.

I'd rather err on the side of caution when it comes to that kind of consideration. So as long as it's not extreme (no blood, no injuries) and it's obvious from the pic that BDSM is involved, then it's fine. For example red buttcheeks from a spanking session. Otherwise, I'd rather not assume anything.
(Same way if there's a doubt on the age of the woman or weither she's conscious or not, the pic should be deleted/rejected).
