#1, 2, and 4 - Your impression only (which means absolutely nothing to most of us.)
#3 Whenever any other browser gets as popular as IE, there WILL be exploits against them too (and there are already exploits against FireFox)

#5 Half right (resource hogging)

Saxon. I think you need do a little more researching if you think 1, 2, and 4 are just impressions. Go to any tech savy discussion website and they will say the same things.

But Mozilla regularly updates and fixes securities even proaction. With IE it has always been a timely reaction, they wait a while to fix something. Firefox on the other hand is recompiled every night.

Half right? Have you ever watched your computer resource activity monitors while IE is going? I've never seen a browser hog up so much CPU cycles and PageIn/Outs.

Who cares? Developers should. You're just perpetuating that people use stagnant, poorly constructed, widely available because its forced on you junk. I think you're the last person that should say someone else is bias.

If you want to discuss these things turn on your PM's or start another thread where we can beat the crap out of one another and it will not annoy everyone else trying to stay on topic. (Of course we all know why you won't turn on your PM's, don't we?)

WBW slows down sometime but is faster overall the slow downs are random some times the homepage slows down other times it is uber fast

Honestly, do we really need to spend anymore time debating the IE/Firefox crap? Each one is good in their own respective ways, so lets leave it at that, and let people choose what they want to use.

If they want something else, they will seek out help about it. Filling a feedback page that is supposed to be used for problems with the new version with all this babble about which browser is better will only give diz more crap to wade through before finding real concerns.

Next I suppose we are going to get into the PC/Mac discussion again.

I really dislike the "IP" option while logging in. Like OB said before this, I know I am going to fuck up and log in with that turned on. My IP is dynamic and changes every time I log on.
