Uploading Pictures

So I've been a member for several months now and have tried numerous times to upload pics. The problem is that they slowly disappear as they await for moderation . I've asked a few people about it and haven't really gotten any answers. It'd be a lot better if I could upload some pictures, maybe not a ton but at least some. At first I thought people managed to steal the pics for themselves for upload, but then I realized that only a few showed up on others' posts. Can you guys help me out? I'd like to be able to add something to the site other than comments like "she's hot" and the like.

The short answer is that the pictures may have been deleted because they were reposts, professional shots, or have been deemed not appropriate for the galleries in some way.

This question has been asked and semi-answered numerous times, and nobody is really ever satisfied with the answer, but that's the way it is.

Thanks for the input. I agree with the lack of satisfaction. It's possible that there were a few reposts, but that never seemed to be a problem for others' posts. Plus I doubt 20+ bikini shots were deemed inappropriate. I'll try again.

Thanks Lindros!

Thing is, with almost a million pictures in the galleries, and the mods going basically from memory, the system is hugely subjective and prone to human error. There is a hash-checker that doesn't allow for the upload of pictures that are the exact same, but if they have been altered in any way, you can upload the same picture thousands of different times by cropping it or resizing it or anything like that. And that's how most of the reposts get through, and to be honest, I'm sure a lot of pictures that are similar to ones that moderators have already seen get deleted despite not being reposts at all.

Hell, I've accidentally deleted a few of my own picture uploads because I saw the picture, said to myself, "hey, I've seen this before...repost" and deleted it before I had the chance to look at the uploader, who was me...which would account for me having seen the picture before.

Good luck either way.

^^I couldn't have said it better, but more than likely the pictures were reposts and thats why they were deleted.
I've also done the same thing with mine

Here is something I've put together from the guidelines we follow when modding pictures.....

Copyrighted Pics
any pictures that have any sort of text on them, website addresses, or logos/stamps. This includes any type of screen names or e-mail addresses

Underage Pics
the age minimum is 18 years old... if you arent sure about the age then don't upload it at all even if they are clothed.

Bad Quality Pics
pics that are so small that they are not much bigger than thumbnails, this goes for pics that are too blurry or dark as well as pictures where you cant even really see much of the girl or anything thats worth voting on.

Pics with White Areas
like a white bar across the top of bottom, that is where someone has opened up mspaint and cheaply covered up a website stamp or something similar

Webcam Screen Shot Pics
pics where you can see the actual webcam window around the picture

Multiple Pics in One
meaning if there is more than one picture AS a single picture

If any of the images you plan to upload are anything like described above, don't upload them.

Hopefully this will help you out when uploading in the future
