as stated in another thread, the site has been getting a bit slow lately. it all depends on the time you visit WBW. yesterday I started out with loading times of 42 secs, and ended with 0.19 or so.
the fact that it's slow depends on several things:
- your internet connection (obviously, my 3mbit line is faster then your 56k modem )
- the time of day you visit wbw (crowded internet, slow connection)
- the amount of visitors on the site (more page request, less bandwith for each person individually)
- slow server/slow site

the last option is prolly one of the main issues at the moment. I'm normally always getting around 1 - 2 secs max load time. however, as Diz has been feeling a bit ill lately, he hasn't been able to work on WBW. that means that any stability problem is not being solved. Diz-X is aware of the problem and as soon as he feels fit enough to go at it again, he surely will. for now, just remain relaxed and wait it out, you'll just have to start wanking slower

yeah..it's slow..IE 6.0 - Page Process Time is contingent on modem speed, time of day, internet "traffic" on your IP's side and the site server's side, the weather..and the mechanical health of your computer

thnx for the thumbs up guys . Hemi, I'm no ass-kisser I can tell you that for sure . I've pointed out several faults in the site, aswell as done my share (IMO) with coming up with new feats and replying to questions in the forums.
in any case, you don't see what I do behind the scenes. personally I would think it's a bit of track to try and put me down.
for your personal info, should you be interested, I was busy with moderating pics yesterday. over 2000 pics, which, due to the slow server, took me way over 6 hours. come to think of it, that was only last night. I started out in the afternoon when I already moderated over 400 pics. so in all, you could say I was about half the day (over 8 hours) busy with WBW.

p.s. yes I DO have a real life besides WBW. I called in sick the last couple of days (caught a cold ) so I spent my time on WBW.
