Split The Sports Section

Just a suggestion...since there is usually foolish bickering about whether American football is football, or soccer is football as well as an apparent distaste of American sports by some internationals...how about you split the sports forum by American and international sports?

sports is still sports no matter where you are from. Its only foolish to you when someone disagrees with your opinion. If you are so proud of your american sports maybe you should change your flag back to the Red White and Blue?

jim, you would argue anyway even if it was split up, which isnt gonna happen

I don't think enough people post in the sports forum to make 2 forums worthwhile

It has less to do with pride in a certain country and more to do with a respect and a passion for certain sports and the ability to stay on topic of what the sport or topic actually is instead of aimless bickering...again, it was just a suggestion since this is the "feedback" section.

Well, whatever...I just figured it could be an attempt to keep people on track with their passionate discussions about sports...I thoroughly enjoy all the banter and ideas that are tossed around (and I am admittedly strong willed towards my own opinions)...but I'd rather hear cases for why the Colts are better than the Patriots than hear that the Colts and Patriots are gay and we're dumb for liking them
