When you receive a email with the following, don't be alarmed. Mostly these people use leaked database from the past to scare you into paying up a big fee. THEY DON'T HAVE VIDEOS OF YOU. What you should do is contact your police department and let them handle this and NEVER PAY.

We store your password in our database encrypted, hashed and salted, there is no way to decrypt the password back to the original. In the past there have been big leaks from different huge companies. I received exactly the same email a couple of months ago. I changed the password, deleted the email and that was it. Nothing happened! Just don't put any energy to it and simply ignore it.

Almost impossible, as the password are stored hashed and salted. We do NOT store passwords hashed only as hackers could use rainbow tables to crack the passwords. Even I with access to the hashes couldn't revert them to the plain text version. We take security very seriously.

Again, passwords are stored hashed and salted in our database. This has been from the beginning of when I started WBW back in the day. It could be your browser passwords got leaked by trojan, exploit, ect.

There have not been any data breaches luckily until this day. Let's hope it stays that way, I am doing my best to keep a tight and secure ship.

Somehow it sits really high with you, what do you want me to-do? Do a security audit on your windows machine?

No, just give me a clue as to how it could have been accessed, which you now have. Not everyone has a high level of understanding how all this stuff works

I received a similar email at least a year ago. They claimed the password was for a porn site but it contained the word pizza and I immediately recognized it as the password for my favourite pizzeria. Needless to say I ignored it and didn't pay.
