Rating of Topics

Hi,

maybe it has been discussed allready, but lot of gyus here have fun to rate all topis with 1 star.

That's shit for the an uploaders good work.

My suggestion: perhaps you can add a function which only allows people to rate threads if they've got +100 forum postings. (like the ur greylist future) ?

It will be better to know WHO rates HOW so everybody must take the responsability of what he thinks and does.

that has always been a problem.

probably always will be, just like the uploaded pics ratings.

I have yelled on countless of them but it hasn't payed off so far.

A lot of threads deserve a 1. A lot of pics deserve a 1. I guess by your way of thinking the only option should be 5 stars so as not to hurt anyone's feelings. If a thread sucks, give it a 1, if it kicks ass give it a 5. You're always gonna have people who just randomly click ratings and there's nothing you can do about it. Even if they put a lock on where you have to have 100+ posts to rate, there's still gonna be a lot of 1's cause I have over 100 posts and if a thread sucks, I'm gonna rate it shitty, same with pics. Great threads always end up with high ratings regardless of the few people who click 1 anyway, so it all works out. If your threads are getting rated low, then obviously ya need to step up your game.

what for? do you guys really care that much who is voting a 1? its a private vote for a reason.








i personally think if people like the rating thread feature then you have to take in the bad with the good, its not all rainbows and ponies around here. but if that many people are dissatisfied with it then it could be taken away all together... but you cant put something out there and be pissed when not all things are positive
