Pro photo question

In my days as a mod at Famous Babes, uploading of pro photos was prohibited. Yet the cars section is full of pro photos, example:



This kind of photography is not permitted in the babes section, do the same rules apply for cars?

Whatever you want to call it, the car and motorcycle gallery... where you can upload, vote and comment on these varied machines.

Oh. You mean the women with transportation section?

Just curious. Do you mean pictures of cars with pro models in them? Or any car picture that is professionally done? I'm guilty myself of uploading a couple of car pics that looked pro (with no girls in them) but didn't have a watermark, so I thought that was acceptable.

personally, i think all car pics with women in them should be rejected. imho

What about women pics with cars in them?

That goes into the babe gallery. The car section should have like... Cars as the focus (or bikes or whatever), just look at the top pics... more then half have some good looking woman in them. Makes me think they are in the wrong section.

And then we're back to Bustmall's original question. If it's not OK to a post a picture that consists of a paid pro model? Then how come it's ok to upload a pro pic of a model That happens to be sitting on a motorbike?
Should there maybe be a new section of cars with girls? Or maybe just put all car pics with women in them in the babe gallery. Personally I like the car section here. It's what originally brought me here. Maybe everyone can work something out. If the car is the main image in the picture, then it says in Cars gallery. Now if it's something like a girl in a bikini washing/waxing a car it should be in the babe gallery.

My point is not regarding the legitimacy of where a pic with a girl goes, but the SITE RULES about uploading professional pictures. It has always been a copyright issue, but it seems to be ignored on the car galleries. A pro pic is a pro pic, no matter where it's located. Copyright violation is a copyright violation, no matter where it's located.

I wish we could get a MOD-IN-THE-KNOW to answer the question.

I'm assuming its just never been addressed before.

I mean really....the entire site hosts copyright material, its only the ones that could potentially sue (models, porn stars, actresses) that aren't allowed to be hosted on WBW servers. Even the amateur girls pics are copyright, its just that they wouldn't likely sure, but rather just ask to have the pics removed.

The uploading rules for cars are here.
There is basically 4 :
- no copyrighted or watermarked material (so the pic you linked shouldn't be there indeed)
- no naked women
- no photoshoped
- good quality/size only

I sent a PM to Snozz (who's in charge of the car section) about this thread

I`ve clearly made a mistake here and I`m sorry that it upsets you. But you can use the Report button on those pics that has pro models on them.

I agree the car section was supposed to be about cars that really stand out instead cos it has a half naked chick in the pic we have peugeot hatchbacks in there. No one is looking at the car

Rules have been changed so that babes aren't allowed in the car section. This will avoid the top car section to be driven by the presence of babes on the pics

Old pics with babes will be kept though.

Thank you Omuh. But more the heart of my original question... what about professional photographs? Ya know, like studio shots? Magazine shots? Stuff that is by all rights "copyright" even though any identifiable marks have been cropped?

My understanding is that, no, copyrighted and professional material is not allowed at all. However, the car mods have always ran by their own rules, because fuck it.
