If there was a bit of a standard to what is accepted or if that option to not show uploads from a certain user was to be implemented, that alone would make me want to get a premium membership
I am one of the team of image mods that accept/reject images from the queue, and I agree with your comments about some of the images that are accepted are not what I would class as sexy/erotic/hot etc. The problem with this is, and has always been, your other point about everyone having different tastes. Some members have a real issue with younger women in bikinis, yet they are most often averagely voted above 8. Some only like voyeur images, some find them sleazy. Some are only here to see images of larger mature women, some feel nauseous when seeing them. The list goes on, and you just can’t please everyone.
There have been suggestions before of things like if an image reaches 100 votes (or another figure) and the average vote is under 5 (for example) then the image is removed from the site. But that could be open to abuse and we still have a few members that simply vote a “1” or a “10” for every image for some reason...
So yes, I agree that the option to hide any images uploaded from a certain member would be a good thing to add, and I think it’s a good way of a user filtering results to suit their tastes (as well as using the tag search).
