PM disabled not working?

I have disabled my PM in settings yet I have received three PM's.

I've lurked long enough to know the harassment females get on this site.

There are a lot of good guys but the few immature boys looking for a date ruin the experience.

I just want to enjoy the babes and.........cars, yeah that's it

I do know that Crew Members are immune to the "ignore PM" thing, because we can force PMs on you but what fun is that if everyone can do it?

I would like a selective way to disable PMs in the future..like disabling them from certain people, that would be nifty.

I DO like the "Send-To-Hell" button idea, though. It would be nice to be able to block PMs from all except your personal buddy list! Not that I have any buddies, but a good idea anyway! Enjoy the CARS. Peace.

Yeah, I just sent a couple PM's to/from a test account and the disable PM button doesn't work.

Hmmmm, maybe when the Crew was made exempt it forgot to close the door on everyone else.

I took a course in BASIC long ago and that was all it took to convince me that being a programmer was NOT a career choice.

Two of the PM's were "Add to Buddylist" requests. I now understand these are not blocked. One of the PM's was real and from one of the members making the request. Nothing bad but I don't want any unwanted mail.

I didn't mean to be such a girl about this but I've had issues on other boards. I'm slow to trust people on the internet and in RL.

Buddy request PM's cannot be blocked, moderators can always send PM's even to people who blocked PMing.

Both. I opened my regular account in FF3 and my test account in IE6 and turned off PM's in both, but I was still able to PM either account from the other.
