Picture Series?

I have a couple questions regarding the picture series section.


First, I've noticed that alot of the picture series contain two, one or in a surprisingly high number of instances, zero pics. I don't see how one or two pics is a series, and I certainly don't want to click on a picture expecting more of that series only to get nothing.

Second, and I understand this may be part of the reason for the first question, but would it not make sense to mod the pics in the order in which they were uploaded? This would allow for much easier placement of series in picture series, as the randomness would disappear, and in addition there are a couple of other good logical reasons I can think of for doing it chronologically.

Well, I can't tell you why there are so few or no pics in the series since I don't do enough picmodding to know how to make them. Usually I think it's Creepus that plays with it.

But I do know why they don't come in order when modded. It's done that way so the same pic won't be modded by more than one mod on the same time. Often many mods work on the same time and if they are pulled randomly from the queue the odds that they get the same pic is very low.

I have a question of my own.

I've come across several sets of pics that should be grouped together in a series. Should I PM one of the mods about this, and if so who.

Definitly.

The problem is that when everyone uploads a series, they don't tell any of the mods. That's probably why many of the series' that we have are really large; the mods keep seeing the same girl, and know that they need to be grouped together.


I think an awesome feature for the next version would be a check box for uploading a series. That way it would be flagged for the mods that are going to mod the pics.

that or a flag for pics that are in a series

so that when mods are deleting duplicate pics they dont delete the one that is in a series
