No movies for 4 days!!!!

there actually was a thread made by diz posted in the frontpage, giving everyone about 4-5 days notice about the move and the possible downtime to the site. The news post went for about 3-5 pages...so alot of people got to read it, fucked if i know why its not there still though.

ok if thats the case then i apologise but yeah i had alook and didnt notice anything myself but i havent been around the past few days.

but yeah i was just saying would be good buisness practice to issue a notice or whatever but it seems you did so its all good

just leave it runnning next time so people know for sure hehehe

im betting a mod or whatever removed it after a while as alot of websites remove downtime threads ect as they dont look good lol.

but im kind of pissed that thread is not there....it shouldnt be deleted, it helps to avoid shit like this

Bangledesh's point is valid. So people here have no clue about the hard work that it takes to run this site. Mainly because we normal members can't see any of that work that Diz, Senja, and the mods do. Were pretty much ignorant about it unless specifically told what going on.

But Jack is right too because this is one of the few times that Diz hasn't put a warning in the highlights on the front page about the problem like he normally does. Diz uaually keeps everyone up to date about any problems but maybe was to busy to think about it this time.

The thing is why don't people just pm Diz or Senja or the responsible mod before making a thread about the problem?

the age old question mate, i answer alot of PM's....as im sure alot of other mods do too. But most people just want to make a thread...

The movies will be continiue this week. We had some people on holliday so sorry for not uploading movies. But this week it wil be better Hope you guys and girls will understand that and sorry for not uploading movies.

Because some people didn't do there job when me and Jason where on vaction, no movies where uploaded. Me and Jason will upload a lot of movies tonight, we just came home from portugal so we will start working right away.

I am very disapointed in the guys who supose to have taken this over.

Since when has Diz or senja slighted, or ignored any member for gain? Do you know how many times they've stayed up for 36+ hours working on the site? Do you know how much time every single mod spends making sure that this site operates? Do you know how much we all spend out of our own pockets, because our sponsorship prices are so low, to support and keep this site running?

Things happen, and it took time to resolve. There was a break in the uploads because they decided to increase the speed of the lines, and make it easier to keep the site running at top speed for you all. There are 81 Gigabytes of movies on hand at this point in time. And thousands of movies in the forum. I'm sorry that the improvements were such an inconvenience...

ever hear of the front page??? plus it was not downtime... wbw was up and running call it a glitch in the system if you will, but only part of the functionality was not working corrctly... maybe they are modelling themselves off of microsoft...

I use it all day, and to be honest I don't understand why people are always complaining about rapidshare. Ok, you have to wait some time for your next download, but if you plan your downloads and juggle a few proxies around, all those troubles are gone forever.
